Monday NASA Ingenuity Mars Helicopter became the first aircraft in history to make powered , controlled flight on other planet. The Ingenuity team at the agency’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Sothern Calfornia confirmed the flight succeeded after receiving data from the helicopter ” Ingenuity is the latest in long and storied tradition onf NASA project achieving a space exploration goal thought impossible ”said acting Adminstrator Steve Jurczyk.”The X-15 was pathfinder for the sapce shuttle.
