Each Serosurvey conducted at various points in the pandemic revealed that the corona virus spread in India is 13.5, 28.5 and 26.1 times higher, respectively. Than the official tally since data revealed more number of people who had develop antibodies then the total number of infection figures shared by the government.

Citing poor record keeping and lack of widespread testing, the report said getting a clear picture of the total number of inflections in the country was hard. Further, it said the under count was “more pronounced, for technical, cultural and logistical regions. “Because hospitals for over helmed, many covid deaths occurred at home, especially in rural areas, Thus omitted from the official count. Laboratories that cool confirm the cause of the death are equally swamped, ” Kayoko Shioda.

“On what basis this group pull out of infection mortality rate of of 0.3 % in one scenario and 0.15 another scenario and 0.6 in another scenario. On what basis, this is just an assumption and a feeling of some people and this is something that should have not published particularly in so called prestigious publication.

He further said that if the same method is used, then by that estimate New York reported 50,000 in May. “I make it six times, it is 90000 deaths, and if I do it 12 times, it is 1.75 lakh deaths but they don’t say that, they say it is 16000. What I mean to say here is this is a distorted estimate for mortality.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has alleged that a “political effort” is underway to tarnish Narendra Modi LED government image.
