World air quality report 2020 was released in march 2021 by switzerland based organization IQ Air Visual.The objective of publishing this report is to raise awareness about air pollution as a silent killer. According to this report India’s air quality has improved in the year 2020 but the world’s top 30 the most polluted cities include 22 cities in India .
This report based on PM 2.5 data from 106 countries . In this ,Delhi has been described as the most polluted capital of the world and the second most polluted city in the world ,Ghaziabad. According to the global report ,the biggest factors of air pollution in India include the use of bio fuel for the vehicles, cooking .power generation ,industry, construction, burning of junk and straw. It has the highest emission of PM 2.5 from vechicles The most polluted city in the world id China’s Xinjiang city.
